1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using complixo (“the Service”), operated by Toine.com B.V. (KVK 87544903, BTW NL864325381B01, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

complixo is a self-serve compliance management platform that helps organizations manage compliance across multiple regulatory frameworks including EU AI Act, GDPR, NIS2, and DORA. The Service includes application registration, automated risk classification, multi-framework compliance checklists, controls and evidence management, risk tracking, export generation (PDF, Excel, CSV, Word), and team management features.

3. Not legal advice

complixo is an informational tool and does not constitute legal advice. The risk classifications, compliance assessments, checklists, and documentation generated by the platform are based on automated analysis and may not account for all circumstances specific to your organization. You should consult qualified legal counsel for definitive compliance decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.

4. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • One person or organization may not maintain multiple free accounts
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

5. Plans and Billing

complixo offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed annually through Stripe. Prices are in EUR and exclude applicable VAT.

  • A free plan is available with limited features. No credit card required.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use automated means to scrape or collect data from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

7. Fair Use Policy

  • Plans marked with “Unlimited” are subject to fair use.
  • We monitor usage to ensure platform stability for all users.
  • If usage significantly exceeds normal patterns, we may contact you to discuss appropriate plan adjustments.
  • We reserve the right to implement reasonable usage limits to maintain service quality.

8. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you enter into complixo. We do not claim ownership of your content. We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can export all your data at any time from the Settings page. Upon account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., audit logs, tax records).

9. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control, including infrastructure provider outages.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, complixo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Intellectual property

The complixo name, logo, and Service design are the intellectual property of Toine.com B.V. The classification engine, compliance templates, compliance workflows, and platform features are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms, including the introduction of usage limits or fair-use thresholds, at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
